Q: Can the MH3 be used with other radios?

A: Yes, it can.  You will likely need to rewire the plug or build an adapter cable to do so.  Remember that the MH3 uses an electret element so, therefore, will need to have a bias voltage applied to the mic elements.  Most radios today can supply this internally with a menu setting.

Q: Will the MH3 work on the KX3 and KX2?

A: Yes.  Both radios were both designed to support the MH3’s features.
